Ava

Combining her lived experience with a background in science, Ava seeks to help bridge the science-patient gap and connect chronic-illness communities with rare-disease communities. In addition to hEDS, Ava has spastic cerebral palsy, vascular compressions, MCAS, and multiple other conditions. In her everyday life, Ava works as an equine bodyworker and can typically be found spending time with her horse, working on research, or procrastinating her paperwork.
